Murder Is Okay

Reasons To Legalize Murder

Today I want to take a break from the normal technical content to talk to you about something deeply personal and important to me. Murder, and more specifically how Murder Is Okay. I know that might come as a shock to you, and that's understandable. There's been a lot of stigma around murder in our society, and I get how change can be scary. But if you hear me out, I think you'll come to see what I mean.

Murder Is Natural

Murder is a universal urge that transcends societal or cultural bounds. Scientists have even observed animals murdering each other in nature. In some animal communities murder actually plays an important social roll, and murderers are "respected" by other animals.

At least in the animal kingdom, Murder Is Okay.

Someone You Know May Be A Murderer

There's a lot of murderers in our communities, at every level and age group. Many people such as police officers, soldiers, and public executioners commit murder regularly. Because of societal constraints, most murderers prefer to stay "closeted" and don't openly talk about their murders.

When you speak out against murder you may be speaking out against some of your closest friends and family.

Chances are that someone you know thinks Murder Is Okay.

In Many Cultures Murder Is Already Okay

In many ancient societies and cultures, murder was considered perfectly acceptable and sometimes even encouraged. The ancient Greeks notably were very pro-murder, and would gather together to watch and commit murder. In their culture murder wasn't considered "weak" or "cowardly" (as modern political figures might claim) but instead a show of strength, and a matter of pride.

Ancient Mesopotamian cultures, Roman cultures, certain Slavic cultures, and Japanese culture have all historically accepted murderers and even promoted Murder-activities.

It really is just our closed-minded modern society that unjustly persecutes innocent members of the murder community.

Separation of Church And State

Persecuting members of the murder community is often attributed to religious beliefs from The Bible. But this simplistic view overlooks some important details. Let's go over them, and show the disinformation and selfishness at the core of these beliefs.

The Bible's position on murder isn't that clear

That's right! Many members of the murder community are devout practicing Christians! In fact, a lot of them don't see their murder as a contradiction to their religious beliefs, but as a testament to them! If you think they're crazy, maybe you should reconsider your faith. These are all real passages from The King James Bible:

Leviticus 20:2

Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “You shall also say to the sons of Israel:‘Any man from the sons of Israel or from the aliens sojourning in Israel who gives any of his offspring to Molech, shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Leviticus 24:16

Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

Exodus 31:15

Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the Lord. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.

If you truly are a God fearing Christian, you naturally would go to the local 7/11 on a fine Sunday evening (having been at Church in the morning) and would murder the cashier there, and that's okay because Murder Is Okay.

So what if The Bible did appose murder?

Just because your personal religious beliefs prohibit you from doing something, doesn't give you the right to tell other people how to live their lives.

"My religion prohibits me from murder"
"Okay don't do it then?"
"You don't understand, you're also prohibited."

Governments shouldn't be making legislation based off of relgious dogma. It's the right of every human on this planet to choose their own religion, and live by their own moral code, and no man in a suit has the right to take that from you.

Ultimately, what other people do in private is none of your concern, and you shouldn't force your beliefs (especially religious ones) on anyone.

Health Benefits of Murder

Did you know that a large number murderers are people with mental illness, who use murder as a coping mechanism?

Did you know that murder has many uses in medicine? In Canada murder or "Medical Assistance In Dying" is not only legal, but even offered by doctors.

Murder plays an important role to a lot of people going through pain you might not be able to understand. It can be a helpful tool to deal with stress, anger, jealousy and other negative emotions.

Not being okay is okay, and Murder Is Okay. If you open your mind a little, think of things from other people's point-of-view, love others and yourself- we'll all be okay too :)

Conclusion

They say you can't reason a man out of a position he doesn't first reason himself into. If that's true, then I'm probably on a fool's errand trying to change the minds of murderphobes- but what else can I do? How can any sane person sit back and watch this unfold? Innocent members of the murder community are being treated like second class citizens, being persecuted by their governments, religious officials, and sometimes even their own families.

I AM PRO-MURDER

I think that Murder Is Okay, and I hope that now, after reading all of that, that you do too.
